Kurt Zouma (27-year-old French footballer and defender at West Ham in London, former defender Saint-Etienne), was sentenced by a British court this Wednesday to 180 hours of community service for mistreating his cat.

A video of him kicking and slapping his cat was uploaded to social media three months ago.

These images were scandalizing across the Channel, and beyond.

He had pleaded guilty before a British court.

The Thames Magistrates Court in London also prohibited him from owning a cat over five years.

Yoan Zouma, Kurt Zouma’s younger brother, was also being sued. He confessed to having "aided and encouraged, advised, or incited his older brothers to commit an offense".
