Family, friends and the police have been looking for Tobias D. from Eching since Friday. The 25-year-old and his friends lost touch after a festival when the site was cleared due to a storm. The Bavarian police are now reporting that a dead male person was found in Lake Eching. "There is a high probability that it is Tobias D., who has been missing since Friday," says the police statement.
Around 6.45 p.m. on Tuesday, rescue workers were informed of a lifeless young man floating on the lake. Bathers brought him ashore before rescue workers arrived. The emergency doctor could only determine death. "Both the appearance, clothing and personal belongings of the dead match the description of Tobias D., who has been missing since Friday," writes the police.
The police have started investigations into the cause of death.
