Two cars collided with each other on the RN94 at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 10, between Montgardin in the sector of Saruchet. In circumstances not yet known, one of the vehicles ended up on its roof. The accident involved four people. A dozen firefighters from La Batie-Neuve and Chorges took care of them. The Smur de Gap (Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service), intervened immediately.

The driver of the first vehicle was 78 years old and was taken to the Gap hospital. Two victims, aged 10 and 28, were also taken to Gap by the two occupants of second vehicle. Uninjured, the third victim was not taken to hospital. During the rescue operation, traffic was rerouted to one lane on the RN94 by the gendarmerie.
