MOSI brings back pay for a day ticket deal starting Saturday

Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry İmajbet is bringing back its pay for a day ticket deal starting Saturday, giving guests free admission for the rest of the year with one admission ticket.

You can score a Discovery Passport starting Saturday for the price of regular general admission, $26.95 for adults, $25.95 for seniors, and $20.95 for children 3-12. That gets you access to more than 400 hands-on activities and films in the Imax Dome Theatre with no blackout dates through Dec. 31.

Other attractions such as Busch Gardens and the Lowry Park Zoo have had success with "pay for a day" tickets and leveraged them into selling more full memberships that include free parking and discounts on shopping and dining. MOSI's 12-month membership, $99-$299 for Florida residents, includes those perks plus discounts on camps and birthday parties.

The pay for a day offer does not include separately ticketed activities such as the roller coaster simulator or Sky Trail Ropes Course. See mosi.org or the ticket office at 4801 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. The deal will only be available for a limited time, a MOSI news release said.
