Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's verdict in defamation trial But outside the courtroom, the exchange of blows between the two Hollywood stars continues. Previously unknown court documents are now becoming public.

Johnny Depp's defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard has ended. But the claims and allegations that have been made public so far were far from the end, as it seems. Now the mudslinging continues outside the courtroom.

As previously secret documents reveal, not all evidence made it into the process. Some of them will now be made public - and some of them are quite spicy. For example, court documents available to the US website The Daily Beast show that Depp's team apparently tried to submit nude photos of Heard as evidence. Apparently, her brief work as an erotic dancer should also be addressed. However, neither was allowed.

According to information from "The Daily Beast", Heard's team also received a damper. Accordingly, Judge Penney Azcarate refused to provide a memorandum of conversation between the actress and her lawyers from the divorce proceedings with Depp.

According to the note, the 36-year-old ignored advice from her legal team to seek the maximum sum she would have been entitled to after Depp's 2016 filing for divorce. The actress was said to be entitled to half of the $33 million that Depp is said to have received for his role in the fourth part of "Pirates of the Caribbean". However, Heard reportedly decided against pursuing this claim, stating in an email to her attorneys that she "stands by [her] word that this isn't about the money."

Depp won the defamation lawsuit against Heard in early June after around six weeks of the trial. He sued her for $50 million for a post she published in the Washington Post in 2018. In it, she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence. She did not mention her ex-husband by name. However, Depp argued the post still ruined his career, damaged his reputation and cost him a lot of money. Heard, in turn, filed a $100 million counterclaim against Depp.

In the end, the court largely agreed with Depp, although he was also sentenced to pay damages to his ex. The bottom line is that Heard owes him $8.35 million after the trial. Heard and her legal team have appealed the verdict. The actress is said to not have the funds, but is trying to raise the money. As the celebrity portal "TMZ" reported, she has since sold her house in California's Yucca Valley for $ 1.05 million.
