Emmanuel Macron will visit Romania Tuesday to meet French troops there. He will then travel to Moldova Wednesday to show his support for the country that has been affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The Elysee announced Friday, June 10. French President clarified that the Head of State would visit Ukraine on a date not yet fixed. This will be "useful for President (Volodymyr Zelensky)".

France also expressed its desire for a victory for Ukraine and said it was ready to join an "operation" to lift Odessa's blockade. The goal is to export Ukrainian cereals into countries that require them. The fighting at the Black Sea port, which is strategically important, threatens global food security.
