Nomen est omen: Diana the lion honors the lion's den

When the summer break is over, things get hot again: At the end of August, "Die Höhle der Löwen" opens its doors again at Vox. Then, for the first time, a guest lioness will also be part of the party, who already lives up to the name of the show.

The founder show "Die Höhle der Löwen" returns from the summer break on August 29 with the twelfth season and eight new episodes. This was officially announced by the broadcaster Vox, on which the format is broadcast (also available on RTL).

In the show, founders fight again for the money and the wealth of experience from Carsten Maschmeyer, Nico Rosberg, Ralf Dümmel, Dagmar Wöhrl, Nils Glagau, Judith Williams and Georg Kofler. Some of the show's attendees will also have the opportunity to pitch their startup to a new guest lioness, who will venture into the den in episode five.

Her name could hardly be more appropriate: Diana zur Löwen. At only 27, she already has over ten years of professional experience in the field of social media. She has a million followers on Instagram and has successfully advised several companies on social media marketing. She is also a speaker and supports a few selected start-ups as an investor.

Diana zur Löwen herself says about her new commitment: "I've known 'Die Höhle der Löwen' since I was a teenager and saw myself full of anticipation and ambition as the presenter of the show. Now I'm really happy as an investor in this inspiring format to be there. I feel particularly honored because I'm a fairly young guest lioness next to the well-established professionals."

Also present in the new season are prominent faces such as Vox "dog professional" Martin Rütter or the two-time Olympic champion Kristina Vogel. In addition, the new episodes will again be about very high investment sums. Two start-ups are each looking for an investment of one million euros. A founding team is even investing 1.5 million euros.
