Federal police officers checked the young person, who suddenly turned around at the sight of the officials, as the federal police announced on Thursday. According to the police, he had attached the machete with a blade length of 44 centimeters to his waistband like a sword. The blade, which was surrounded by a plastic cover, protruded into the trouser leg. With a long sweatshirt jacket, the youth covered the parts that looked out over the trousers.
According to the information, the 16-year-old did not give a reason why he was with such a dangerous weapon under his clothing in Dortmund's main train station. The police secured the so-called bush knife and are now investigating the young person for violating the weapons law.
