North Rhine-Westphalia: 22-year-old seriously injured in a collision with three cars

Hamm (dpa / lnw) - A 22-year-old driver was seriously injured in a collision with three other cars in Hamm. The man got into the oncoming lane when turning right on Wednesday evening and collided with three cars standing at a traffic light, the police in Hamm said on Thursday. In addition to the 22-year-old, a 75-year-old driver and two children aged one and four years were injured. All were taken to hospitals. A life-threatening injury to the 22-year-old could not initially be ruled out. A blood sample was also taken from him. The police estimate the property damage at around 50,000 euros.
