North Rhine-Westphalia: 63-year-old motorcyclist hits a car and dies

Düren (dpa / lnw) - A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a rear-end collision at the entrance to Linnich (Düren district) on Sunday evening. The 63-year-old drove into a car waiting in front of him on the federal highway 57 for an unknown reason, the police in Düren said on Monday. The motorcyclist fell, skidded on the ground and hit a power pole. He died on the spot. The 30-year-old driver of the car suffered minor injuries. He wanted to turn his car, so he stopped.
