North Rhine-Westphalia: 78-year-old driver drives on car: eight injured

Warendorf (dpa / lnw) - Eight people were injured in a traffic accident in Enniger in the Warendorf district. Nobody suffered serious injuries on Wednesday, as a police spokesman said on Thursday night. A 78-year-old driver drove a country road from Ahlen in the direction of Hoetmar. Two cars stopped at a junction, wanting to turn left. The man noticed the stationary cars so late that he drove into the car of a 34-year-old driver. The force of the impact pushed the car onto the car of a 35-year-old man standing in front of it.

In the car accident, both the three drivers and five other passengers from the stationary cars were injured and taken to hospitals by ambulances.
