North Rhine-Westphalia: 84-year-old drives in a tractor shovel: seriously injured

Lindlar (dpa / lnw) - An 84-year-old collided in the Oberberg district with his car during an overtaking maneuver with the front shovel of a tractor. The 62-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries on Saturday and was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter, the police said. The 84-year-old suffered minor injuries. The collision near Lindlar occurred when the 36-year-old tractor driver wanted to turn left with his team from the road. At that moment, the senior was reportedly already in the opposite lane to the overtaking maneuver and hit the front loader shovel of the tractor. The driver of the car was uninjured.
