Gütersloh (dpa / lnw) - An 87-year-old man died in an apartment fire in Gütersloh. His bedroom in an apartment on the ground floor of an apartment building caught fire on Friday, police said. The 87-year-old resident was found dead in bed during the firefighting effort. According to initial findings, the fire is said to have been caused by a light source in the bed area. The investigation is ongoing.
