North Rhine-Westphalia: A three-year-old child is hit by a car and fatally injured

Gelsenkirchen (dpa / lnw) - A three-year-old girl suffered fatal injuries in a traffic accident in Gelsenkirchen. According to previous investigations, the child ran between parked cars on the street and collided with the car of a 21-year-old woman, the police in Gelsenkirchen said on Monday. The accident happened on Sunday. The exact course of events has yet to be determined. The critically injured child was taken to a hospital, where it died a few hours later. The young driver suffered shock and was taken to a hospital.
