Unna (dpa / lnw) - The Autobahn 44 is closed at the weekend near Unna due to a bridge demolition - starting on Saturday at 8 p.m. The section between the Dortmund-Unna junction and the Unna-Ost junction is affected until Monday (June 13) at 5 a.m. According to the Westphalia branch of Autobahn GmbH, a detour is signposted and leads via the A2, the A445 and the B63.
Reason for the complete closure: A bridge over the A44 near Unna has to be rebuilt, and the old structure is due to be demolished at the weekend. During the work on the new bridge, three lanes are to remain in both directions.
