Like some daycare centers, elementary schools and junior high schools, the Pelizaeus high school in Paderborn was also inaccessible on Monday because cleaning and renovation work was still necessary there after the devastating tornado of last Friday. However, part of the building of the high school remained accessible and open to the high school graduates, so that oral exams could be taken there, as the city of Paderborn announced.
In Lippstadt (Soest district), in addition to some elementary schools, the Ostendorf grammar school and the Evangelical grammar school were so badly affected by the tornado that no classes can take place there for the time being.
