Bad Wünnenberg (dpa / lnw) - A 37-year-old man was fatally injured in an accident at work on a construction site in Bad Wünnenberg (Paderborn district). When building a house with precast concrete elements, a wall hanging from the crane hit an existing one and knocked it over, the police said on Monday. The man fell and hit his head on a concrete ledge.
According to the police, he suffered severe head injuries in the accident on Monday afternoon and was taken to a clinic by rescue helicopter. The police are now investigating at the scene of the accident, the Office for Occupational Safety and Health is involved.
