North Rhine-Westphalia: after finding drugs worth millions: search for perpetrators

Siegburg (dpa / lnw) - About a month after the discovery of 170 kilos of marijuana and two kilos of amphetamine, the police asked the population to help find a suspect. On October 31, the officers raided a warehouse in Siegburg (Rhein-Sieg district) and found the drugs worth millions. Due to a judicial decision, a picture of the accused was released for public investigation on Saturday.

In October, witnesses noticed a pungent, chemical smell from a storage room on the main street in the Kaldauen district, as the police announced at the time. They then met the suspect, who was unknown at the time, on site. He "wanted to save himself by making excuses about the chemical stench," said a police statement from early November. The witnesses then entered the warehouse and found countless packages. The suspect grabbed two of them and, according to witnesses, left the hall in a white van.
