Bonn (dpa / lnw) - After a SEK operation in a Bonn luxury hotel, one of the initially arrested men is in custody. The 46-year-old is accused of violations of the Weapons and War Weapons Control Act, as the police and public prosecutor announced on Monday in Bonn. The police were called to the hotel on Saturday and arrested three men there. Edged weapons were found on the 42-year-old caller and one of his companions, each 46-year-old. Three handguns, a submachine gun and a large amount of cash were also found in one of the hotel rooms used by the suspects.
The investigators explained that the threat described by the caller did not take place according to the current state of knowledge. The two 46-year-olds are friends of the 42-year-old. He is said to have stayed with them in the hotel for several days. "Much is still unclear," said a spokesman for the public prosecutor's office. The 42-year-old and a 46-year-old are free again.
