Cologne (dpa / lnw) - The police have identified the alleged perpetrator who is said to have seriously injured a 31-year-old man with a shot in the leg on September 26 in Cologne. The police and public prosecutor's office in Cologne announced on Wednesday that the 41-year-old from Cologne was being investigated for attempted manslaughter. However, during a search of his house last Friday in the Buchheim district of Cologne, the emergency services did not find the suspect.
According to the information, the authorities are currently following up on indications that the man now wanted with an arrest warrant is said to have fled abroad. According to the current state of investigation, the act was preceded by a private dispute between the wanted person and the victim. No other people involved are currently being investigated, it said.
