Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) - After a collision with a wheelchair user, a driver in Bielefeld is said to have hit the man and then driven away. The 82-year-old wheelchair user was traveling in his electric vehicle and collided with the car coming out of a driveway, the police said on Monday. After the accident on Saturday evening, the driver lowered the window. He is said to have hit the 82-year-old in the face – before he drove on. The senior suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. According to the police, the search for the driver was initially unsuccessful, and witnesses are being sought.
