North Rhine-Westphalia: Airport on the upswing: strongest June in airport history

Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - After the slump in Corona times, Dortmund Airport is on the upswing. In the second quarter of this year, the airport recorded around 694,000 passengers, more than twice as many as in the same period last year (plus 130 percent), the airport announced on Friday. The pre-corona level has almost been reached again, with 715,000 passengers in the second quarter of 2019. If you only look at June 2022, the airport has already overcome the consequences of the pandemic - this month there were a good 250,000 passengers, 4000 more than in June 2019.
