Cologne (dpa / lnw) - The man who was shot during an eviction in Cologne is said to have previously attacked police officers with a knife. The investigators announced this on Wednesday hours after the operation. After an "unsuccessful use of pepper spray" and the threat of firearms, the shooting finally took place. The 48-year-old - the owner of the apartment - was fatally injured.
According to the information, the man is said to have previously made threats should there be an eviction. Therefore, the bailiff commissioned with the eviction asked the police for support.
