North Rhine-Westphalia: Arrest warrant after life-threatening stab wounds

Lüdenscheid (dpa / lnw) - After a 40-year-old woman in Lüdenscheid suffered life-threatening stab wounds, an arrest warrant has been issued against her husband who is living apart. The public prosecutor's office obtained this from the responsible magistrate on suspicion of attempted manslaughter the day before, the police said on Tuesday. The woman ran out of a house onto the street on Sunday with life-threatening injuries and asked motorists for help. According to earlier information, the seriously injured person was treated by first responders and taken to a hospital. A short time later, the separated and 48-year-old husband was arrested as a suspect. A homicide detective is investigating. The investigators initially did not comment on the alleged murder weapon.
