Ratingen (dpa / lnw) - Unknown perpetrators blew up an ATM in a shopping center in Ratingen (Mettmann district) on Wednesday night. The anteroom of the shopping center was severely devastated, the police said on Wednesday. However, the building is not in danger of collapsing.
An employee of a security company called the police just after 4 a.m. after receiving the alarm signal from the ATM. A witness also saw two men flee on a scooter. It was not yet clear whether the perpetrators managed to steal money. The authorities were also unable to provide any information on how the perpetrators blew up the machine.
