Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Bundesliga soccer club 1. FC Köln has committed offensive player Sargis Adamyan from TSG Hoffenheim. The Armenian, who was last loaned out to Club Brugge, has signed a contract with the Rhinelanders until June 30, 2026. The club announced this on Tuesday. "Sargis is not only a top player who can improve the performance level of our team, but also a top character with great down-to-earthness, loyalty and integrity," said FC Managing Director Christian Keller.
Adamyan, who met Steffen Baumgart as assistant coach during his time at Hansa Rostock FC, played 53 competitive games for Hoffenheim. He made 16 appearances for Brugge, scoring six goals.
