Sprockhövel (dpa / lnw) - Due to a mishap, an infant was locked in a car in Sprockhövel in the summer heat. The door fell shut, the car locked and the key was in the car, the fire department reported on Thursday. Because of the high outside temperature and the lack of a spare key, the fire brigade decided to smash a side window to open the car. The baby was recovered unharmed from the car and handed over to the parents.
