Leverkusen (dpa / lnw) - Bayer Leverkusen has signed midfielder Elisa Senß from SGS Essen. The 24-year-old will switch to the women's Bundesliga team on July 1 and will receive a contract in Leverkusen until 2025, as the Rhinelanders announced on Monday.

"Elisa is a technically strong, attacking midfielder with a goal-oriented approach. We've had our eye on her for a long time, she fits in very well with our team," said Leverkusen's soccer women's boss Thomas Eichin.
