North Rhine-Westphalia: boy is thrown and injured in an accident on the road

Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - A five-year-old was hit by a car in Dortmund and seriously injured. According to eyewitnesses, the boy suddenly ran across the street from a sidewalk on Saturday, the police said on Sunday. A 23-year-old driver tried to brake, but could not stop in time and caught the child. The boy was thrown onto the street and an ambulance took him to a hospital.
