North Rhine-Westphalia: carriage horses go through: two men thrown down

Bad Oeynhausen (dpa / lnw) - Two occupants were injured in an accident involving a carriage drawn by two horses in Bad Oeynhausen. According to witness reports, the animals went through an intersection and accelerated down the sloping road, the police in the Minden-Lübbecke district reported on Monday about the accident from the previous day.

The vehicle went out of control and crashed into a street tree. This tore the dishes from the carriage. The men, aged 69 and 72, were thrown from the coach box. They came to hospitals. The horses remained at the scene of the accident and were examined by a veterinarian. The wrecked carriage was towed away. The police want to ask witnesses and accident victims why the horses bolted.
