Essen (dpa / lnw) - The weather in North Rhine-Westphalia will remain mostly clear on Wednesday, with only isolated gusts of wind. The day began partly with clouds, but later the sun made its way, according to the German Weather Service (DWD) in Essen. Towards the evening, the clouds will therefore thicken, but it will mostly remain dry. Strong gusts occur in the west and north-west of the country, which can sometimes become stormy at high altitudes.
After a rainy night, the weather looks friendlier on Thursday. According to the DWD, it will initially be cloudy in the morning, later it will be mostly sunny. The temperatures reach a maximum of 16 to 19 degrees, at high altitudes 15 degrees are expected.
