Attendorn (dpa / lnw) - Several kilograms of cocaine, which employees of the Tafel in Attendorn discovered in banana boxes before Christmas, come from Colombia. A police spokeswoman said on Thursday that the still unknown sender from Colombia had sent the boxes to the wrong sender, according to the investigation. The total of 14 kilograms of cocaine arrived at a supermarket in Sauerland. There the boxes were sorted out unopened and went to the table in Attendorn in the district of Olpe.
West German Broadcasting also reported on the new findings on the origin of the drugs. According to earlier information from the Hagen police, their value is around 500,000 euros. The investigation is ongoing, the spokeswoman said. It is hoped that the sender can be tracked down, even if it is in Colombia. The Organized Crime Unit took over the case.
