Geseke (dpa / lnw) - After a violent collision with a car, a van in the Soest district tipped on its side and slid about 70 meters over the asphalt. The 55-year-old driver was seriously injured in the collision, the 56-year-old van driver was unharmed, the police said on Sunday.
Accordingly, the two vehicles crashed into each other on Saturday in a crossing area in Geseke. Part of the traffic light system had been cleared by the van, it said. The police initially did not provide any information on the extent of the damage. The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
