Troisdorf (dpa / lnw) - In a dispute between two men on Wednesday evening in Troisdorf (Rhein-Sieg district), a 46-year-old was seriously injured by a shot. As the police and public prosecutor's office in Bonn announced on Thursday, residents initially reported gunshot noises in the area of Kölner Strasse. Shortly thereafter, an apparently injured person appeared at the police station in Troisdorf and stated that they had been shot at.
The 46-year-old was treated by rescue workers and an ambulance on site and taken to a hospital for further treatment. The suspect could no longer be found at the alleged crime scene. The background to the fact is still unclear.
Due to the overall circumstances, a homicide commission from the Bonn police took over the investigation together with the public prosecutor's office. In addition to the investigations at the alleged crime scene, the search measures continued, according to the information.
