Oberhausen (dpa / lnw) - After a dispute at a Christmas market in Oberhausen on Monday evening with at least two seriously injured, the police arrested two men. Special forces were also involved in the access in Neukirchen-Vluyn early Friday morning, the police said on Tuesday. The arrested are 22 and 24 year old Germans. It is being investigated for an attempted homicide.

The injured suffered cuts and stab wounds. At first, the emergency doctor even assumed life was in danger, but corrected this later, said a police spokeswoman. The two men were taken to hospitals. The rest of those involved fled. The dispute ignited between two groups on Monday evening for reasons that are still unknown near the toilet truck at the Christmas market, the spokeswoman reported.
