A dispute over an improperly disposed of full baby diaper has escalated in Düsseldorf. Now the baby's father is not only on trial as a diaper thrower.

Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - A tangible dispute over a full diaper is to be rolled up this morning (9:00 a.m.) at the Düsseldorf district court. A 42-year-old father has been charged with assault. According to the indictment, he had his child changed on Düsseldorf's Königsallee and then simply threw the full baby diaper into the moat of the magnificent mile.

When a passer-by questioned him about it, the accused allegedly fled. But the 29-year-old doggedly followed the alleged diaper thrower with other passers-by and alerted the police. When she started filming the father, the situation is said to have escalated. The 42-year-old is said to have spat on the woman and hit her twice in the face.

The 42-year-old is said to have turned around on an escalator and kicked the 29-year-old who followed him in the stomach. The accused later stated that he felt persecuted and threatened. The trial had already been postponed twice
