North Rhine-Westphalia: Driver crashes into trees on the side of the road with a car and dies

Schöppingen (dpa / lnw) - A 30-year-old driver crashed his car into two trees on the side of the road and died. According to the police report, the accident happened early on Sunday morning in Schöppingen in the Borken district. The man was traveling on the L570 in the direction of Ahaus when he left the road for reasons that were not yet clear and crashed into the trees. The wreck came to a halt in a strip of green. A witness called the emergency services. The driver was injured so badly in the impact that he died at the scene of the accident.
