North Rhine-Westphalia: driver falls asleep and comes off the road: children injured

Blomberg (dpa / lnw) - Four people were injured in a traffic accident in Blomberg in the Lippe district. The 55-year-old driver may have nodded off at the wheel and drove the car into a ditch, police said on Tuesday. He and his two 13- and 15-year-old children were seriously injured in the accident on Monday night. A 47-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. All occupants were taken to the hospital and the driver's license was confiscated.
