North Rhine-Westphalia: driver flees from the police with a middle finger from the car window

Wermelskirchen (dpa / lnw) - A driver fled from the police in a provocative way in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district. Witnesses initially reported on Thursday evening that a car was driving at increased speed and had a flat tire, officials reported on Friday. A patrol car crew then discovered the driver with his car near Wermelskirchen. "However, he fled from the officers and undeterred continued his journey with clear wavy lines," said a police report. "The driver also showed the officers his middle finger out of the open side window during the escape."

A little later, the vehicle even lost a tire before it finally hit two bollards and came to a standstill. The slightly injured driver had to be fixed by the officers because he was so aggressive, the police reported.
