Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Fortuna Dusseldorf continues to lend its central defender Jamil Siebert to Vikoria Cologne. The 20-year-old had already played for the third division soccer team in the second half of last season. Siebert still has a contract with the second division club from Düsseldorf until June 30, 2025.
"We are very satisfied with the development that Jamil has taken in the past six months," Fortuna's board member for sports and communication, Klaus Allofs, was quoted as saying in a club statement on Saturday. "We are sure that another season in the 3rd division in an environment that he is now familiar with will be ideal for his development."
