Bonn (dpa / lnw) - The former national soccer player Lukas Sinkiewicz will be the coach of Bonner SC, which has been relegated to the Oberliga. This was announced by the club from the former capital on Friday. It is the first position as head coach for the 36-year-old, who was the assistant coach of Fortuna Düsseldorf U23 for four years.
Born in Poland, he played for 1. FC Köln, Bayer Leverkusen, VfL Bochum and Jahn Regensburg in his career and in 2005 he played three senior internationals for Germany under Jürgen Klinsmann. Bonn was relegated from the regional league after six years. "Our common goal can only be promotion," said Sinkiewicz.
