Hagen (dpa / lnw) - A female body was found in an apartment in Hagen on Tuesday evening. In the evening, a 52-year-old man appeared at the police station in downtown Hagen. In the course of the conversation with the man, "evidence of a dead female person" emerged in an apartment in the Hagen district of Vorhalle, the police said on Wednesday.
Officers then gained access to the property and found the body of a woman. The 52-year-old was arrested for the time being. There is a suspicion of a homicide, it said. A murder commission from the Hagen Criminal Police Office took up the investigation. The police initially did not give any further details.
