Cologne (dpa / lnw) - A person died in a fire in a residential building in Cologne. Four residents were able to get themselves to safety late Monday evening, and a fifth resident was able to save himself with the help of a neighbor, the police said on Tuesday night. The dead person was found in the apartment that was on fire. Four residents and an affected neighbor were taken to hospitals to be checked. The fire reportedly started in the attic of the home. The rescue service and fire brigade were deployed with 46 forces. The cause of fire was unclear for the moment.
