(dpa / lnw) - Around 250 emergency services have moved out to a forest fire at Möhnesee (Soest district). The fire in the Arnsberg forest spread to an area of about 1000 square meters on Tuesday evening, as the fire brigade announced on Wednesday morning. In order to bring the fire under control and to have enough extinguishing water on site, several fire departments were alerted at the same time. Two emergency services had to be treated because of signs of exhaustion. Firefighters brought the fire under control around 11:00 p.m. During the night, a fire watch checked possible embers. According to the fire department, there was no danger to the population.
