North Rhine-Westphalia: Free entry to Zaporizhia home games

Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The future home games of guest starter HC Motor Zaporischschja in the 2nd handball Bundesliga can be attended with free admission in the Castello Dusseldorf. This was announced by the Düsseldorf operating company D.Live on Wednesday. The Ukrainian champions, who are currently unable to play any games at home due to the Russian war of aggression and have been integrated into the German second division for the time being for a year, will play a competitive game for the first time in the new Düsseldorf stadium on Saturday (4 p.m.). Opponent is the HC Empor Rostock. The Ukrainians had lost the first three league games. "We hope for a lot of support, both from the Ukrainians living here and from the German handball fans. It would be nice if many spectators came regularly. Especially for ours in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area living compatriots, it is very nice that admission is free," says manager Dmitriy Karpushchenko. The event hall in the south of Düsseldorf offers space for up to 3300 spectators.
