Lienen (dpa / lnw) - Five days after a fatal knife attack in Lienen in the Steinfurt district, the police are still looking for a 45-year-old suspect. A police spokeswoman said on Monday that several tips had been received from witnesses that were currently being evaluated by the investigators. A 55-year-old was stabbed to death at the train station in Lienen on Wednesday. The police are looking for a Syrian suspect with an arrest warrant for manslaughter.
His car was secured on Friday evening at the train station in neighboring Lengerich after a witness recognized the car. According to initial investigations, there have been several arguments between the two men in the past.
