Essen (dpa / lnw) - The Green Youth has criticized the exploratory paper of their party with the CDU and wants to abstain from the question of coalition negotiations. "If we want to save the climate, pay for the traffic turnaround and ensure affordable housing, we need money. And dear friends, we as Green Youth want to see this money, formulated in a concrete and well-founded manner," said the spokeswoman for the Green Youth of North Rhine-Westphalia, Nicola Dichant. at the party conference on Sunday in Essen. "As a result, we as Green Youth cannot agree to the start of coalition negotiations and will abstain."
The Green Youth wanted more from the exploratory talks, especially when it came to social issues. "We all have to live somehow. That's why it's a crystal-clear task for politicians to ensure affordable housing," said Dichant. "Really nobody should pay 500 euros for a room in a shared flat, nobody should give up their only vacation." There must be clearly renegotiated.
