The exercise took place in the run-up to the German Height Rescue Championships, which will be held this Saturday (October 1) in Düsseldorf. For the 18th time, high-altitude rescuers from Cologne, Hanover, Erfurt, Magdeburg, Essen, Braunschweig, Leipzig, Chemnitz, Frankfurt, Oldenburg, Hamburg and Stuttgart will compete with the hosts from Düsseldorf and the reigning German champions from Munich. The Düsseldorf high-altitude rescuers have already won the title seven times. The approximately 200 participants have to master five different tasks per team.
