Send (dpa / lnw) - A horse broke loose at a shooting festival in Send and seriously injured a 34-year-old. The animal initially shied away from the event in the Coesfeld district on Saturday afternoon and then ran away, the police said on Sunday. As it fled, it collided with the man, who was then taken to hospital in a rescue helicopter with serious injuries.
A 39-year-old was also taken to the hospital after suffering shock from the incident. Several bicycles were also damaged. According to the police, the horse was then captured. The investigations are ongoing.
