North Rhine-Westphalia: Insect is said to have caused a serious accident

Gescher (dpa / lnw) - An insect on the face of a driver is said to have caused a serious accident in the Borken district. The 20-year-old lost control of her car near Gescher on Thursday, the police said on Friday. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on the side of the road. The seriously injured woman was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter. According to the police, she stated the cause of the accident: An insect had flown into her face.
